The wedding has been moved AGAIN, this time up, to November 30th of this year. We'll be moving to the coastal area of the state later this year, him first for his job (hence the move-up), me following the first week of December. It's a really artsy area, so it'll be a good move for me too. I'm hoping to get some exposure at the art fairs they have constantly, but first I reeeeeally need to build up my watercolor portfolio >< I gave away a good deal of my stuff I did for class as gifts, so I don't have very many decent pieces left in my possession.

I think it's absolutely hilarious that my professor told me I needed to do more real life studies XD She's right, of course, but I adore fantasy. Besides, the portfolio grade (I got an A on my portfolio, B in the class overall) was based on how much practice we did with the medium, not necessarily the number of RL studies. She also liked to pick on me about preferring working small over large. Not in a mean way, of course. She's a sweetie. She won't be available to teach this winter because she's having a baby, so I won't be able to study under her again til next spring. That'll be an hour and a half to a two hour commute one-way, but she's worth it. I adore her. Thankfully my other half is totally supportive of my decision to remain enrolled at my current school despite the drive. The few remaining mandatory classes I have left I can mostly do online anyway. Watercolor 2 isn't mandatory, but I've fallen in love with the medium and the professor, so I'm definitely taking it.
